The MC gets sexually assaulted in Act 1 (by random people). I thought it was handled ok. Mitsunari is the target of homophobic insults from time to time, mostly from Ieyasu. It's suggested that Mitsunari is or was in a sexual relationship with Hideyoshi. (This is also suggested in Hideyoshi's route, as well as that Hideyoshi is mostly using him.) Mitsunari's male ex-lover Otani, who was presumed dead, has a major role in act 2. I am not so sure about the ex part, they still have strong feelings for each other and the implications for where that relationship goes are different in the two endings. I thought the relationship was handled more or less ok, but it's mostly off-screen. Otani is lovely btw and ends up in a close friendship with the MC. In the sad ending to act 2, Mitsunari's arms are paralyzed and that is part of his reason for handing himself over to Ieyasu to save his friends. Mitsunari's mother dies in act 1 and Hideyoshi dies in act 2, both of illness. There are two graphically described sex scenes in act 2, both consensual.
