He sounds so much more fun as a snarky investigative jerkish underdog who is smart enough to see through the bullshit, instead of trying to conquer the world.
He so is. It is great fun watching him recognize all his former allies for what they are.
He needs to get better at telling her things, I thought that was what last act was about.
This is vaguely lampshaded, in that at the beginning of the route when they are just hanging out in not-China they do seem to have fairly decent communication. And then once Plot gets underway she says something about, this is how things used to be and I don't like it.
