Aww, yeah, your description of watching Nobunaga go around the country sounded really nice. :D And I'm glad the relationship worked!
And the whole thing is set up as a mystery of why Danming is invading and what is up with the rebellions, but once we find out Nobunaga doesn't try to stop Ieyasu and Hideyoshi in any way.
...I wonder if they ran out of time or something. It sounds like they had a good plot set up and then...they just kind of forgot about it, I guess?
I'm very curious about what happens after this act, too. I'm assuming they're not going to continue it, but the idea of Ieyasu and Hideyoshi and Mitsuhide just starting at each other going "..." amuses me mildly.
