Birthday (and cake)

Today is my birthday and I have many different kinds of imaginary cake, of many different shapes and flavors. Please come by with a fictional character from any of my fandoms and I'd be glad to share some imaginary cake with both of you.

All my cake is imaginary right now. But I do have real popcorn! And for you and Lin Jing I made an imaginary popcorn cake, made in an extremely complicated way, with layers of popcorn and frosting. It is quite tasty actually. I recommend that he eat it quickly before Zhao Yunlan gets back.

Oh, thank you! I'll make a dried fish cake for Da Qing. I don't think I'd like to eat it myself, so I'll put together a chocolate three layer cake for you and me and maybe Da Qing can eat his cake and then curl up on my lap while we eat ours.

Oh, nice to see you here! I tried to bake a cake for Shen Wei but it wasn't up to his standards so he walked right into my kitchen and made one himself while patiently explaining cake-making to me. I'd be offended, but the cake looks delicious, I learned a lot, and I got to see Shen Wei with his sleeves rolled up. I'm not even going to touch the cake until Zhao Yunlan gets here.

Ha I thought "Which SLBP character would be most excited for Exotic Foreign Cake" and my brain helpfully replied "Nobunaga", but I can see him being a disruptive party guest so I'll bring Radiance!MC instead :)

Nobunaga is absolutely welcome! I have some marzipan cake with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles for him. While he's eating I'll send a message to Mitsuhide to let him know that Nobunaga is distracted and this would be a good time to make a move. 'The enemy is at waterscroll's dining room table!' makes a less dramatic rallying cry than 'The enemy is at Honno-ji!', but whatever works. If Mitsuhide would like to deal with certain politicians from my country at the same time, that would be fine and would make an excellent birthday present.

Radiance!MC can stay and hang out. I hope she's not on Nobunaga's route, though, because that might not go well. But if she's on a different route, she's welcome to use my kitchen to make anything she likes. I wouldn't dare cook for her.

Oh thank you! I'll bring some cakes over to Ye Zun's pillar and try to explain to him that in the long term it's better for him if he eats the cakes and not me, because if he leaves me uneaten I can write more fic.
